Fundraising Walk to celebrate International Women’s day

CAME Women and Girls Development Organisation, Maendeloe Services and Ealing Somali Welfare and Cultural Assocation members, partners and friends will be doing a 5 mile walk on Saturday 5th March 2016 from 9am to 11am in support of women and girls who have experienced violence and abuse in Ealing.

The walk will start in front of Greenford Station, carry on into Ealing Hospital and return to Greenford station, where there will be some refreshments waiting for networking. Have fun and get fit while raising money for charitable work. The 5-mile walk aims to raise about £1,000 for charitable work. We invite you, your family and friends, to sign up for this amazing walk. Celebrating Southall Women – 8 March 2016

A day of women-focused events to celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March 2016.
10-11am: Women-only fitness class at St George’s Church, Southall Broadway (Cost: £1)
3-6pm: Creative activities led by local women and light vegetarian refreshments at St John’s Parish Centre (Havelock Road), including: bring-and-share cakes – flower arranging – arts, crafts and poetry – Giddha dancing – smoothie making – open mic (share your poetry or songs!). Vegetarian snacks and tea provided. Supervised children welcome. (Cost: free)
6pm: Join us for a free vegetarian menu at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Havelock Road
