An enthusiastic group of Rectory Park Estate residents took part in this free 4-week course. In addition to cooking 2 new recipes every week, the sessions included informal discussions about food safety and hygiene, cooking on a budget and healthy nutrition. Current public health awareness issues like cancer and alcohol awareness were also included. A guest speaker from West London Waste Authority gave a presentation on reducing food waste and DOSH financial mentors were available to give advice. Achievement certificates will be presented at the upcoming Family Day.
